Community Action Programme is a dedicated community-based non-profit organization in South Africa. Our mission is to support and uplift children who are infected and affected by HIV and AIDS, along with their families. We work to provide holistic care, support, and educational resources to those in need, especially focusing on vulnerable children and families facing health challenges.
Our approach involves a combination of practical services, emotional support, and life skills training to empower individuals and communities to overcome the challenges they face. We recognize the impact of HIV and AIDS on families and aim to ease their burden through compassionate care and assistance.
Providing Home-Based Care: We assist those in need by offering essential support, such as bathing, home cleaning, and meal preparation, ensuring comfort and dignity.
Running Support Groups: We facilitate safe spaces where individuals can come together to share experiences, receive guidance, and offer each other emotional support.
Offering Nutritional Support: We provide meals and food parcels to ensure children and families receive the nutrition they need to stay healthy. Providing Palliative and Psycho-Social Care: We offer holistic care for those facing serious illnesses and provide emotional and psychological support to individuals and families.
Supporting Education and Awareness: We educate children and families on important issues like the dangers of substance abuse and equip them with valuable life skills.
Assisting with Social Grant Applications: We guide individuals in applying for social grants to support their well-being and alleviate financial burdens.
Our values of compassion, dignity, and empowerment drive everything we do, and we are dedicated to improving the quality of life for children and families in our community. Through our programs and services, we aim to create a safer, healthier, and more supportive environment for those impacted by HIV and AIDS.
